Inzievar Cattery & Kennels

Inzievar Cattery and Kennels is located within Inzievar Estate on the outskirts of Oakley and is run by Karen & Craig Spowart along with their friendly and experienced staff.

Karen has experience in working in boarding establishments for over 18 years and has built up an excellent reputation in animal care after having secured an HNC in Kennel, Cattery and small animal management at Elmwood Collage in Cupar.

Our cattery accommodation is second to none in the area; it’s modern, secure and hygienic.

We have 18 spacious cat pens, purpose built and suitable for all ages, we can offer personal care which is tailored to your individual cat needs, all have an indoor living area with a cat flap connecting them to an individual outdoor run where they can sit and watch the abundant wildlife or just chill, the cat flap can be left open for those who prefer to watch the nightlife. All pens are big enough to house a family of 3; two of our pens can house a family of 4.

Under floor heating is standard in all sleeping areas and music is provided to help the days drift by.

Administering medication or preparing special diets is something we’re used to and take very seriously.

We have a second to none cleaning regime.

We’ll spend extra time with those nervous cats who take a bit longer to settle in, ensuring they’re eating (even if it means bribing them with chicken, tuna, a few prawns or anything else which takes their fancy) or just giving them a cuddle or a gentle brush.

Kennels:

We have 5 luxurious kennels, 4 of which are large enough to board 3 medium sized dogs (lab/spaniel) in each and 1 which can board 4 medium sized dogs, all have their own outdoor runs where the dogs are free to come and go as they please during the day. The under floor heating is a treat for those colder nights and background music helps the dogs settle in to their new home. The dogs are walked around a large paddock four times a day. Alternative exercise regimes can be discussed if required.

We feel that having a small number of kennels allow for a more personal and individual stay, whether it means administering medication, preparing special diets or just giving them an extra cuddle to help them settle in.

Dog Grooming:

Karen provides a tailored service to suit both the owner and the dogs’ needs. Years of experience ensures that quality grooming is achieved and a broad knowledge of breed types and styles means no dog is too big or too small.

Flexible grooming times are available.

A pick up/drop off service is available (at additional cost).
